November 2025: African Drum Class with Ult Mundane

Ult Mundane teaches African Drumming in the tradition of Guinea, West Africa. This class is open to all levels.

Drop-ins are welcome, but the class will only run with a minimum of five students registered in advance. To help make sure the class has enough students, please register by sending $60 in advance to Ult.

This is a four-week series, on the following dates:

  • November 10
  • November 17
  • November 24

Let Ult know in advance if you need to borrow a drum for the class.

Ult Mundane has been studying traditional West African drumming for over twenty years, playing djembe and dunduns. He has learned from world-renowned teachers such as Famoudou Konate and Mamady Keita. Since 2010 he has been studying with Namory Keita, a master drummer from Guinea. Ult currently teaches a weekly class in Temple, NH and leads the drumming for a weekly dance class in Keene, NH.
